The Lee Mansion In Winter

This is the home of Robert E. Lee. The Lee Mansion, taken during the polar vortex of 2014. The Civil War disrupted the lives of many people. Robert E. Lee who had given his life to the US Army, and at the time of the breakout,was a Cornel, was given the honor of leading the US Army. Lee refused, then went with his native Virginia and led the Army of Northern Virginia. When the army needed a place to bury thedead, they started burying bodies on the house grounds, so no one could use it anymore, and the rest is history, as that was the start of the Cemetery.
